Timber is a beautiful, natural and renewable resource.

Glenmere Timber Company Limited is committed to sourcing their timber and timber products from legal and well-managed forests. We unreservedly condemn illegal logging practises and commit ourselves to working with suppliers and other stakeholders towards their complete elimination.

We recognize that the independent certification of forests and the process chain is the most useful tool in providing assurances that the timber we deal with comes from legal and well-managed forests.

At present we hold certificates for FSC Timber and Responsible Purchasing and are stockists of PEFC Timber and several other certificated Timber schemes.

Recycling and Energy Efficiency Policy
Glenmere Timber Company Limited is committed to a policy to reduce the consumption of all materials and packaging wherever possible. Furthermore the Company is committed to the recycling of packaging materials and timber and office waste when it is reasonable to do so.

When considering new investments, the company strive to purchase the most energy efficient solutions when practical to utilise.
